Man, I'm terrible at blogging. But in my defense I've been busy. In fact, busy in part to what I am blogging about this time: "After Grace"

"After Grace" is a short film that I was director of photography on, among other roles. It's screening at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival as part of the Long Distance Short program.

I hope you can make it out to see my handiwork, or lack thereof. This is the first short I've shot on my Canon 7D and with all things considered, I think I did a pretty decent job. Learning the ins and outs of the camera and digital cinematography in general was a frustrating yet fun and satisfying process. I hope to shoot something again real soon, but in the meantime perhaps I'll put together a reel of cool shots that weren't able to make into the film.
